Mixed Media 3D SCULPTURE:
I've always been intrigued with Victorian Era wooden cat figures... the ones that were painted to look like 3D, but were actually cut from a flat panel of wood. I've taken that many steps further by adding extremely detailed props and costuming.
Each vignette is a one-of-a-kind creation. Wood shapes are hand cut, then the scene comes to life with found objects as well as handcrafted props.
The vignettes tell stories, each one unique. Sculptures are accompanied with a Registration Certificate.
