"Buttercup Loves Christmas"
This lovely Maine Coon kitty has passed on, and her owner wanted her presence kept alive forever in a portrait.
Having several candid snapshots to work from, I was able to create the perfect blend of Buttercup's most regal pose, along with her gorgeous green eyes.
From background personality info I always ask for, I keyed in on Buttercup's fondness of Christmas -- voila! Here she is under the Christmas tree... just like always.
The small pics are the reference snapshots I worked with. The bottom one shows the completed portrait under the owner's Christmas tree, with another of her kitty children leaning against it... makes you believe he recognizes his long lost buddy, Buttercup.
